I've been making .mp3 songs for awhile now. It is more versatile than .mid songs; I can add lots of different effects and filters to my songs and have it sound consistent from computer to computer. The same cannot be said for .mid files, which can vary due to different sound cards and whatnot.

Anyway, I hope you like my .mp3 songs. Click the categories to the right to select the type of song you want to hear.

Original Songs

    (2004) 3.77mb
Picture a person strutting down a street. That was my inspiration for this song.
    (2004) 2.9mb
This one is pretty fast-paced and angry-sounding.
    (2007) 1.87mb
An orchestrated song that sounds like an army marching off to war.

An experimental tune that has some tribal-ish melodies and beats.

A short song that makes you think of a lone person looking out at a destroyed city that has no signs of life.
    (2004) 2.9mb
A soothing tune. Imagine yourself on a tropical beach enjoying the scene.
    (2004) 3.07mb
A song that I made because an ex-girlfriend. We had just broken up and I had a lot of emotions to let out. This song was a result.
    (2005) 2.72mb
I was testing out a new instrument sample with this song. Grab some hot cocoa.
    (2002) 1.67mb
My first attempt at making a retro, Gameboy-sounding song. I think I did a decent job.
    (2003) 2.37mb
A second try at making a Gameboy-ish song. It actually ends up not 8-bit sounding toward the end, but ah well.
    (2003) 2.37mb
I stuck to the 8-bit sound for this song. I also experimented a bit with sound panning with this one.
    (2003) 1.49mb
A remix of the Dark Gameboy song. Oh, and when I say "high," I mean "high" as in "on drugs" and not high-pitched. :D
    (2004) 1.76mb
A song that I made while, well, depressed.
    (2003) 2.75mb
A techno song that sounds depressing. Not related to "Depressed" at all.
    (2003) 1.4mb
I think I like to make sad sounding songs. This actually sounds like an agent carrying out a mission.
    (2004) 1.43mb
A song where I played around with some new drum samples. Sounds somewhat mysterious.
    (2006) 1.06mb

This one is an upbeat, 8-bit-ish song. Not sure how I thought of the title, but that's okay. It sort of fits.
    (2004) 886kb
A retro song that has a happy melody. Isn't it great?

This one is a dance-like song. Kind of.
    (2004) 1.92mb
A song testing out a new instrument sample. Can you guess which?
    (2004) 1.46mb
It actually sounds a bit more "mysterious" than it does "haunted," but it's close enough.
    (2002) 1.49mb
An earlier song of mine. I took the drum samples and placed them all up an octave, which is why I titled it the way I did.
    (2003) 1.29mb
A background song I made for my (never completed) website Flash intro.

    (2006) 1.78mb
This one stays more true to the title and is more of a electronic power rock band thing. I think I was inspired by the game Advanced Wars for the GBA.

A Latin-style song with some beats thrown over it.

I took one of my MIDI songs and added some effects, and a drum beat over it to make this song.
    (2004) 1.95mb
Another MIDI song given the high-quality remix treatment. I'm pretty happy with this one.
    (2004) 1.47mb
With this MIDI export, I went the other way around and made the song sound retro and 8-bit.
    (2004)
An even calmer song than "Calm." I always picture myself in a futuristic utopia when I listen to this song.

This one is a grungy, industrial sounding song.

This one is another electronic, grungy song.
    (2006) 1.47mb
This song sounds as though you're rushing to do something. Maybe.
    (2005) 1.82mb
A dark, jungle-like song that sounds like a slime monster lurking around.
    (2004) 1.91mb
A happy song that sort of changes to a minor key in the middle then comes back.

    (2003) 2.41mb
A song that uses my Melody.
    (2003) 776kb
Another song that uses the Melody. This one is a bit more upbeat than the first one.
    (2003) 764kb
Yet another Melody song. It sounds kind of like a demented circus act.
